We Are Tottenham reissued

Updated: May 10, 2020

About 10 years ago, Adam Powley and I wrote a book about Spurs fans. We were inspired by the many tales of following the club we’d got used to hearing over the years in the pubs around White Hart Lane and on the road as we travelled to support the Liliywhites. We wanted to capture the humour, the dedication, the inspired madness and frustration of following a football club. We happened to write about Spurs, because that’s the club we supported, but fans of any club could collect similar tales.

Obviously without the glory and utter belief in the correctness of choice you get for being a Spurs fan!

People liked the book. We got a great foreword from the legendary Hunter Davies, Danny Kelly invited us on his Radio London show to talk about a book he loved, the Sunday Times said it was “a light-hearted and amusing” read and our book briefly topped the sports book charts in The Independent newspaper. The book sold out. Over the years, we’ve been asked many times if the book would be made available again, but it was never reprinted. Until now.

We’re delighted to be able to make We Are Tottenham available again, this time as an ebook. For just £4.99 you can download the complete original book, plus a new introduction and a whole new chapter in which we catch up with many of the people we interviewed in 2004. The book is available on Kindle or from the Lulu.com store. We hope you enjoy it as much as people already seem to have done.
